Craftsmanship
Full canvas construction. Entirely in-house.
Cut, canvas, fittings, and pressing stay in our Seremban workshop.
The standard is the making. You see it on the bench, not on a card.
These pages describe LANWIN Bespoke making. How LANWIN guides commissions in consultation
House standard
Four proofs held on the bench.
Pattern
The pattern is drawn for one person. Shoulder slope, balance, and how you move are marked before cloth is cut.
A later correction is made on this paper, not guessed at a finished seam.
Canvas
Horsehair canvas is stitched inside. The chest and lapel hold shape without the stiffness of fused interlining.
What you see on the outside is only as honest as this layer.
In-house
Pattern, canvas, fittings, and pressing stay in one workshop. Nothing is sent out to be finished by hands we did not train.
If something is wrong, the same bench can say why.
Basted fit
We baste first. You stand and walk. Shoulder, chest, and trouser line are marked while the stitches are still temporary.
Final construction starts after that sitting, not before.
Material Standard
Natural fibres chosen for purpose and climate.
Wool. Cotton. Linen. Natural fibres selected for purpose, climate, and feel. Breathability and drape through a Malaysian day come first.
If a fibre cannot take this climate, we do not start with it. A mill name does not lead.
House technique
Ultralight Making, inside bespoke.
When tropical wear is central, the same bespoke commission can carry a lighter house cut and canvas balance.
Private Consultation
See the make for yourself.
A private consultation is where canvas, cloth, and balance are discussed against how you actually wear the garment — the next step, not a commitment to commission.
Strictly by appointment
